Game on - Thursday Night Ultimate!
Ultimate checklist:
Weather forecast = good. Check!
No other major work, church or other commitments. Check!
Field not booked by another team. Check!
Been long enough for desire to build but not long enough to forget how to play. Check!
Most team members are relatively upright, breathing and 98.6 or so. Check!
All appropriate gear and protective equipment in hand or obtainable. Check!
It appears we are "Go" for a game on Thursday evening! Come on out!

Looking good for Saturday Ultimate this week!
What with the move-in for the Kendrick family at noon, there are a few choices:
1) Blow off playing again - not really a choice at all, I think...
2) Start early.
3) Start at the normal time but actually start and then play without a ton of lag time.
Ultiman is making the call - option 3. Let's get out there and try to start at 10. We'll play a couple of games and hit the road to help with the move before noon.

Plead not the 5th, but the 12th!
Alright, I spoke too soon right after our game last Saturday. No game on the 5th (this week). Instead, all please come hear the glorious Word of God as the church reads through Deuteronomy at The Forks starting at 9 AM. Lunch will be served, so please RSVP to Scott and Rick.
Not sure about next week, 2/12/2011. There are a few challenges to getting in a game but look here for updates!

Saturday Ultimate tomorrow morning!
What's one of the best ways to keep warm? That's right! Go run around in a field!
Save on those heating bills! Physical exercise increases metabolism and the effect lasts for several hours, so turn down the heat when you get home... Okay, maybe that isn't the best idea if your whole family doesn't play... Well, ummm, if you play a good strong game, your body will generate more BTUs than it normally does under regular sedentary circumstances and you will still help to reduce the energy burden on your home - just another way Ultimate is good for your family economy!
